The hotel was wonderful and original, but I stayed for 1 night only. The staff was really kind, really made a difference to my trip. The room was elegant and with the patio, candles, for example. The breakfast served was wonderful and delicious, everything you could wish for, with bacon and fresh bread, for instance. The location was awesome, for example, I sassi was not too far away from the venue.

We thoroughly enjoyed outstanding breakfasts and absolutely fabulous views!

The room was immaculate and impressive, with a terrace and WiFi. The bed was very comfy, great night sleep. The hotel had an awesome and exceptional position, to local abandoned railway station.

The restaurant was good for after dinner, I tried warm dishes. The location of the hotel was excellent and perfect - at a walking distance from a 15th - century castle. Also, the area was interesting.

Impressive and bright units with a dresser and a giant bathroom plus candles. Great location in Sassi di Matera district not far from the Corte San Pietro as well as Rome, Puglia, and Matera.

The location in a comfortable area was great and fascinating. The staff were both courteous and exceptional. The restaurant was great for after dinner, I tried excellent dishes.

The hotel was unique and the staff caring, incredible location to a train station in a nearby town. Well furnished and lovely romantic rooms were modern with a bath. Location: the property was near restaurants, attractions, shops, preservation of the area and restaurants in the old city...

Spotlessly clean small hotel with kind and great staff. The rooms impressive and immaculate with candles, the Turkish shower, as for instance. Great and stunning location in Matera near to the town center and parking, the sassi run by a caring host, and the main attractions and restaurants. Honestly nothing too much trouble.

The location is great and stunning, not too far away from a monumental 1200s cathedral. Exceptionally comfortable bed, impressive room that has a luxurious bathroom. Definitely coming here again, nothing too much trouble, truly enjoyed our stay.

We loved staying here! This place is located exactly on an alley full of tourist attractions, and the fact that it's built in the cave makes us feel like we were transported to another era. The room service was top-notch, and we appreciated the helpfulness of the staff with every request we made. We enjoyed the in-room breakfast and the bar/lounge area that offered great drinks. Moreover, we loved that the hotel provided airport shuttles for us and organized tours/ticket assistance.

We definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Marvellous and stunning location not too far away from a monumental 1200s cathedral. Found in a pretty comfortable area really close to a train station, the centre of the sass and a historical restored sassi. Delicious food for enjoyable and sensational breakfast with live piano music.

Impressive room, very comfy beds, clean bathroom. Wonderful and outstanding breakfast with appetising food. Fascinating, exceptional location in Sassi di Matera district right by a better 4 stars superior establishment, and a touristic alley.

Wi-Fi was weak.

I was offered an excellent breakfast with pastries and live music, as for instance. The location was exceptional, just a pleasant stroll away from Palombaro Lungo. The staff was welcoming and courteous, I stayed for 1 night.

And let's not forget the most amazing breakfast served with a variety of choices and a lovely courtyard to enjoy it in.
